Welcome to the Storm Julie Hoin...

Coach Julie Hoin (maiden name: Hubbard) played four years at East Stroudsburg University (1988-1992) and was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007. Three-time 1st team All-PSAC East volleyball player, she was first-team All-PSAC and first-team All-Region in 1991. She set school records with .379 hitting percentage as a junior and 4.1 kills per game as a senior. She was the team's outstanding player both seasons. In the eight years as head coach from 1993-2000, she led Millersville to six PSAC East titles and won the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference State Championship in 1995.

Coach Hoin returned to coaching in 2013 when her oldest child, Isabel began playing club volleyball. She also directed and head coached the Lampeter-Strasburg middle school league before becoming Head Varsity Girls’ Volleyball Coach for the Pioneers in August, 2015. In two seasons, Hoin coached the team to 2 post-season district competitions. In 2017, Hoin led girl’s varsity at Lancaster Mennonite to a 14-2 regular season record and into post-season district competition.
